hi
i'm thinking to build a tranny.
the maximum speed is 160-180 kmh (is about 120-130mph), what i really need, is that, the gears need to be very close to each other.

i made once a d15b engine, with carburator, and it liked the 8000rpm. so i think the d14 would also like it, because i will build also with carburators.
so, i calculated these options:

1st 3,25 39/12 original hf/std 88-91
2nd 1,65 33/20 original hf/std 88-91
3rd 1,346 35/26 3rd dohc zc 88-91
or 1,259 34/27 3rd dx/si 88-91
4th 1,172 34/29 3rd dx/lx/hx 92-00
5th 0,9375 32/30 4th dx/si 88-91

final drives depends on tyre's size

what do you think about it?
will it work?
